Nothing confirms arrival of Phone (2a)

Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (2a) will be the brand’s next phone. This is a midrange model, say the makers, that does not have the best hardware. However, the specifications are not discussed in the announcement.

In a Nothing Community Update co-founder Akis Evangelidis warns that the Phone (2a) ‘will not have the fastest hardware’. In their own words, the device must meet ‘the main requirements of smartphone users’. The emphasis is, among other things, on performance and camera. However, Evangelidis does not yet mention any specifications for the model.

In addition to Nothing OS, the phone will probably also be equipped with lighting on the back. That was one of the key differentiators from the previous model.

The Nothing Phone (2a) becomes as expected unveiled during the Mobile World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona at the end of February. Recent rumors mention a recommended retail price of less than 400 euros.
