Netflix will offer new Star Trek series along with all old episodes

To get in a bit, Netflix puts all 727 previous episodes online. So those are Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. Netflix has not revealed when exactly which series will come out, except that they will all be available to stream “before the end of 2016” around the world where Netflix is ​​available.

Production of the new series will begin in September. The last series ‘Enterprise’ ran from 2001 to May 2005. The longest time was between the Original Series and The Next Generation, namely 18 years if we do not include the Animated Series. The new series is being created by Alex Kurtzman and Bryan Fuller, among others. Fuller began his career writing for Deep Space Nine and Voyager. Kurtzman co-wrote and produced two Star Trek films, Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Star Trek Beyond, the thirteenth Star Trek film, will be released in the United States on July 21.
