MSI will release seven variants of RX 5700 graphics cards with their own coolers in August. The products are listed on slides showing one of the cards. It concerns four RX 5700XT models and three RX 5700 cards.

The images posted online by HardwareLuxx show the RX 5700XT Mech OC version. The look of that card is reminiscent of MSI’s Armor cards, but with a different color scheme. MSI also comes with another new variant, the Evoke OC. In addition, there will be Gaming X and Air Boost versions of the RX 5700XT.

The three RX 5700 cards that MSI will release will end up in the Gaming X, Mech OC and Air Boost series. Specific details about the cards, such as clock speeds, are not yet known. However, the image shows that the cards have a DVI connection; AMD’s reference design doesn’t have those.

It is the first time that Radeon RX 5700 cards with a custom design are on display. AMD released the video cards on Sunday, but for now only models with the reference design are for sale. AMD offers these itself, but manufacturers such as Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and Sapphire also make them. The reference design has a blower cooler that is quite noisy under load.

August is on the MSI slides and it looks like the cards will come out then. Other manufacturers are also expected to release their custom-designed RX 5700 cards next month. It is not yet known what those tickets will cost. The versions with luxury coolers are probably more expensive than AMD’s suggested retail price, which is 439 euros for the Radeon RX 5700XT and 379 euros for the RX 5700.
