Mozilla unveils logo for Firefox with less obvious fox
Mozilla has presented a new design for its logos. Firefox and related services, among others, are getting a new design. In Firefox, the globe has been made abstract, while the fox has become less detailed.
The logos use purple, yellow and orange as the main colors, according to Mozilla’s announcement. Other services under the Firefox name, such as Send, Monitor and Lockwise, will have logos with the same colors in different shapes. This will probably also apply to the upcoming payment service Firefox Premium.
The new logos show a more abstract idea of the fox and the globe, with the globe getting smaller. Mozilla spent 18 months working on the new design, including the fonts and shapes for the backgrounds. The company already showed possible designs last year. The Verge has listed all iterations of the Firefox logo so far.
