Microsoft recently released Insider Preview Build 25977 for Windows 11 in the Canary channel. This trial version not only allows users to get started with Bluetooth Low Energy-based hearing aids, it also comes with a handy feature to share the password of a Wi-Fi network.

For example, the developer indicates in a blog post that the WiFi menu under settings (Network and Internet) contains an option to generate a QR code so that it can be quickly shared with others. The same functionality will also be available to connect to a mobile hotspot.

Support for hearing aids with Bluetooth LE – which has been supported since May this year – is also being improved. Users will be able to pair them to play audio or make calls via Windows. Additional capabilities are also being worked on, including audio presets that can be managed from the settings menu. However, these are not yet discussed.
