Microsoft gives new features to Notepad in Windows 10

Microsoft will probably update its Notepad program in the next version of Windows 10. Users can then zoom in on text and search from the beginning of a document.

The search and find and replace functions now allow users to automatically search from scratch in Notepad, Microsoft reports. In addition, the ctrl-backspace key combination in the version of Notepad in the latest Insiders preview will remove the previous word.

These are the first functional improvements in Notepad in years, which is called Notepad in English. The new version of Notepad will probably come in the update now known as Redstone 5. According to Twitterer WalkingCat, which has frequently released information about unannounced Microsoft software, Redstone 5 will be named “October 2018 Update”. That is in line with the current version, which is called ‘April 2018 Update’.
