The remake of MediEvil will be released on October 25 for the PlayStation 4. The new version will include a new camera system, better graphics and a new storyteller in the form of Lani Minella.

Sony announced the arrival of the remake and released a trailer during the State of Play livestream. The remake adds better graphics, a new camera system and a new narrator, among other things. Voice actor Lani Minella, also known for her roles in Borderlands and Mortal Kombat, is responsible for the storytelling. For players who still know the original by heart, developer Other Ocean Interactive has added enough surprises in their own words.

In the original and new title, the player takes on the role of Sir Daniel Fortesque. He must battle against countless other undead before taking on the evil Lord Zanok. Daniel Fortesque can use swords and hammers, to crossbows and axes.

The original MediEvil came out in 1998 for the first PlayStation. A sequel to MediEvil was released in 2000 and the original was re-released in 2005, but then for the PlayStation Portable, with the title MediEvil: Resurrection. The remake can be pre-ordered in the PlayStation Store, for a price of thirty euros.
