Linksys has announced the router WRT32X for gamers. According to the manufacturer, the router in black is inspired by the well-known WRT54G and contains technology from Killer Networking that would reduce the latency.

The WRT32X is Linksys’ first gamer-focused router. The manufacturer has teamed up with Killer Networking, which has provided the firmware for the device. This ensures automatic recognition of PCs in a network that have the Killer Network Manager. The combination would provide better ping times, is the claim.

The router is completely black, supplemented with blue LEDs. It is an 802.11AC router with theoretical maximum transfer rates of 3200Mbit/s and with mu-mimo and dfs support. The router supports OpenWrt and DD-WRT and will be available in April for 300 euros.
