LG presents seven uhd-oled TVs

LG has introduced a new line of OLED televisions during the electronics fair CES. It concerns a total of seven models and the screens have diagonals of 55, 65 and 77 inches, with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.

It concerns two 77-inch models, one of which has a curved screen. LG mentions this in the announcement. Furthermore, the company has presented three designs with a diagonal of 65 inches, consisting of one curved TV and two flat variants. LG has also shown two smaller 55″ models. One has a curved screen, while the other has a traditional design. All versions are OLED televisions with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.

LG mainly mentions the black values ​​and the color reproduction of OLED in combination with LG’s wrgb panel in the announcement. In addition to red, green and blue, Wrgb also contains white subpixels. The electronics company also talks about the sound systems of the televisions. These systems were developed in collaboration with the American audio brand Harman Kardon. The models are also equipped with version 2.0 of webOS, which should, among other things, reduce the start times and, according to LG, increase the ease of use. LG has not released more details.

LG has previously announced that it will introduce UHD TVs with a new Wide Color LED technology. In addition, models with a UHD resolution based on quantum dots will be shown during CES.
