LG has presented two new models in its K series budget smartphones. The 2018 K10 and K8 follow on from last year’s models. The manufacturer does not yet say anything about prices and release dates in the Benelux.

The K10 is the larger of the two and features a 5.3″ LCD with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The device has an undisclosed octacoresoc with a maximum clock speed of 1.5GHz. The phone measures 148.7×75.3×8. .7mm. Three variants will appear: the K10+, K10 and K10α, which differ in camera, memory and storage. All variants have a fingerprint scanner on the back.

The K8 has to do without that fingerprint scanner. The phone has a 5″ LCD with the same resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The soc is a quad-core with a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz, assisted by a working memory of 2GB. The storage is 16GB.

The phones will be released in Europe, LG says. When that will happen is not yet known. Prices are also not yet known, but previous K-phones came out for prices between 120 and 200 euros, so it is obvious that the prices will now also be in that area.
