Japanese billionaire announces passengers first commercial SpaceX moon trip

Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa reveals who will be joining him on SpaceX’s first commercial lunar journey. These include American DJ Steve Aoki, American YouTuber Tim Dodd and South Korean rapper TOP.

Because Maezawa bought all available seats, he can choose who travels with him. The journey should take about six days and is scheduled for 2023. It will use the Starship rocket, which is currently being finalized. The crew will travel within 200 kilometers of the lunar surface, SpaceX said.
