Jaguar is introducing a variant of the existing electric I-Pace that receives less power. This also includes a lower sales price. The starting price is about 15,000 euros lower than the starting price that the SUV received when it was introduced in 2018.

Jaguar says the new version called the I-Pace EV320 is less powerful than the regular, existing EV400 version. The manufacturer reports that it has recalibrated the combined power of the two electric motors to arrive at 235kW or 320hp. The torque of the new, less powerful version is 500 Nm, which allows an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds. The regular 400 hp version does that in 4.8 seconds, thanks to a torque of 696 Nm.

The manufacturer says that the range is unchanged with 470km, in accordance with the European wltp-norm. The battery capacity is also still the same with 90kWh and that also applies to the powertrain. The new EV320 version can add 63km of driving range every fifteen minutes with a 50kW fast charger, which is 127km per fifteen minutes with a 100kW charger. Charging via the internal inverter is possible with an AC power of 11kW, with which it can be recharged 53km per hour, so that an empty battery should be completely full again in 8.6 hours.

Jaguar says that the prices of the I-Pace EV320 start at 65,990 euros. The already available EV400 version started at prices above 80,000 euros.
