Gaming is fun, but often accompanied by icy hands when an intense gaming session is over. This phenomenon also occurred with a couple of Danish gamers, who have therefore developed the so-called Heatbuff. This heats gamers hands with infrared waves.

The Danes have now raised enough money with their Kickstarter project to actually get started with the Heatbuff, the idea of which was born in May 2016. Since then, the creators have been able to develop a prototype and have been working on the project full-time since January of this year. The idea arose when the Danes were watching an e-sports stream, in which professional gamers warmed their hands with small heat bags.

The product was first aimed at pro gamers, but later the creators realized that it can also be a godsend for ordinary mortals. The intention is to deliver the first copies in December. According to the makers, the Heatbuff warms hands to room temperature and the use of infrared means the keyboard should not get hot. It would also be impossible to burn your hands on the thing.

In fact, it is little more than a desk-sized patio heater, but perhaps a godsend for gamers who suffer from cold hands. The normal selling price of the device should be one hundred euros.
