GTA Online is getting a casino and gambling minigames on July 23

GTA Online will get a casino on July 23 with the Diamond update where players can play slot games against the computer controlled bank. Players can also buy a home in the casino building. The update also includes new clothing and vehicles.

Starting next week, players will be able to play poker, blackjack and roulette at the Diamond Casino & Resort. According to Rockstar Games, gamers play against the couch; it therefore does not seem possible with the update to be able to play gambling games against other players. Slot machines will also come to GTA Online with the update, in addition there will be a Lucky Wheel where players can win cash prizes, clothing or vehicles. The prize offer of this game will be adjusted over the weeks, according to Rockstar Games.

On top of the casino is a penthouse that players can purchase, which comes complete with a swimming pool and an extensive terrace. Buyers can also upgrade the property with a sauna, bar or cinema. Whoever buys the penthouse gets new co-op missions at his or her disposal. A corrupt Texas family wants to damage the casino, the player must try to prevent that. Those who successfully complete the missions will receive a new vehicle, among other things. The Diamond update will be available to download for free on July 23 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
