GoPro releases Karma drone in four European countries for 999 euros

GoPro is launching its Karma drone in four European countries. The Benelux is not yet one of them. It is the first time that the drone of the camera maker will be for sale in euro countries. The price is 999 euros.

The combination of the drone with Hero5 camera costs 1399 euros, GoPro has announced. The Karma is released in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Italy. It is unknown when the drone will be available in the Benelux.

The Karma drone went back on sale last month after GoPro implemented a fix to the battery lock. Due to an error in the first version of the drone, some copies fell from the sky. GoPro then decided to withdraw the Karma from the market.

The Karma is a compact quadcopter that can be folded and works in combination with the GoPro Hero5 action camera. Accessories also allow it to work with the Hero4 and Hero5 Session.
