Google is shutting down its Inbox email application. That Gmail alternative has been around since 2014. Many Inbox features, such as Smart Reply and email snoozing, have already made their way to Gmail.

Google has posted a page on its support website with tips for moving from Inbox to Gmail. There, the search giant writes that Gmail has many features for managing emails similar to Inbox, such as pinning messages, bundling emails under tabs and setting reminders.

Google says in a blog that it will stop using Inbox to focus on one email application. The plan is to “say goodbye” to Inbox by the end of March 2019. Google introduced Inbox at the end of 2014, the application for Android and iOS was initially only available by invitation and was presented as a ‘smart’ e-mail service.
