Online gaming platform GOG.com says it is suffering from technical problems. This may prevent some users from downloading or updating games.

GOG blames the technical problems to an outage at its storage provider and content delivery network. This may prevent players from downloading or updating purchased games via both GOG.com and the GOG Galaxy client. The outage will not affect game files that have already been downloaded, GOG said. It is also possible to purchase games.

GOG says it is fixing the problem by temporarily switching to its secondary storage provider. The gaming platform says it is a top priority to fix the problem as quickly as possible. On the basis of the forum responses the problems do not appear to have been resolved at the time of writing.
