The open world shooter Generation Zero will be released on March 26. It was already known that the game would be released this year, but there was no concrete release date yet. Generation Zero will receive a target price of 35 euros.

Avalanche Studios has announced the release date through various channels, including the Twitter page from Generation Zero. Last year, the Swedish developer showed the game’s first gameplay trailer, the story of which is set in Sweden in 1989. A closed beta test started in the fall.

The player must survive in the wilderness while fighting against enemy robots. Generation Zero includes a day and night cycle and weather conditions. Robots that are damaged but not immediately shut down will remain damaged. This means that if the player hits the robot again after the previous battle, it will be easier to destroy it.

Avalanche Studios is known for the Just Cause series, among other things. In addition, it is working with id Software on Rage 2, which will be released on May 14.
