The official press renders of the Galaxy Note 10 have appeared online. The detailed specifications of the device are also online. It only concerns details about the regular variant of the Note 10. No new information is known about the Note 10+.

Telecom journalist Roland Quandt of WinFuture has put the images and specifications online. He says on Twitter that the specifications come from ‘the most reliable’ source. Quandt regularly publishes renders and specifications of phones that have not yet been officially announced. It is very likely that the information about the Galaxy Note 10 is correct.

According to the leaked specifications, the Galaxy Note 10 will have a 6.3 “screen with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. This is striking because this is lower than the resolution of the Galaxy S10 models and the Note 9. It is an AMOLED screen with hdr10+ support and a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 6. The device contains an Exynos 9825-soc, an octacore whose fastest cores are clocked at 2.7GHz.The working memory consists of 8GB and there is 256GB flash storage. 10 has no room for a micro-SD memory card, the Note 10+ would have such a slot, but two nano-SIM cards do fit in the Note 10.

On the back are three cameras with different lenses. The regular camera has a 12-megapixel sensor and an aperture that can be set to f/1.5 and f/2.4. There is also a telephoto lens with the same resolution and an f/2.1 lens. The ‘zoom factor’ is 2x compared to the primary camera. The third camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens and an aperture of f/2.2. On the front is a 10-megapixel camera. The Note 10 can film in 4k resolution at 60fps and with the front camera in the same resolution, but at 30fps. The cameras can capture video with HDR10+ support.

Samsung puts Android Pie on the device with Samsung One UI on it. The device comes with the S-Pen, which has 4096 pressure levels and is water resistant with an ip68 rating. The device has a fingerprint scanner behind the screen. The renders do not show whether the device has a 3.5 mm connection, but that connection is not mentioned in the specifications. Earlier renders based on cad files lacked the audio connection.

The housing has dimensions of 151×71.8×7.9mm and the device weighs 167 grams. That’s a lot less than the Note 9 that weighs 201 grams. However, the Note 10 also has a lower battery capacity of 3500mAh. Fast charging goes with 25W and wireless charging with a maximum of 12W.

The Galaxy Note 10 would be on sale from August 23. Samsung will probably present the Note 10 on August 7; the South Korean manufacturer will then hold an event. Along with the Galaxy Note 10, the details of which have now been leaked, the Note 10+ is also expected. That larger version has more sensors on the back, probably a higher screen resolution and more memory.
