G.Skill has announced a memory kit with DDR5-6400 RAM optimized for AMD’s AM5 platform under the Trident Z5 Neo RGB brand. The sets support AMD EXPO and will be available from September, although no prices have been announced yet.

The new DDR5 modules have a speed of 6400MT/s and timings of CL32-39-39. The sets are according to G.Skill optimized for X670 motherboards with at least Agesa version 1.0.0.7c. So the memory modules are intended for Ryzen 7000 series processors due to the support of EXPO memory profiles. The dimms are available in black and white and are equipped with RGB lighting.

DDR5 memory sets with EXPO support have been available for some time, but as far as we know, hardly at the relevant speed. Slightly slower and faster variants of, for example, 6000 and 7200MT/s have already been brought onto the market.
