Forza Horizon 3 Demo for Windows 10 PCs Coming After Release

The demo of Forza Horizon 3 released by Microsoft on Monday does not work on PC. This is remarkable, because the game is a Play Anywhere title, which can be played on both the Xbox One and PCs with Windows 10. The developer reports that a PC demo will follow after the release.

Forza Horizon 3 will be released on September 27. A PC demo will be released sometime after that date, which will be separate from the Xbox One demo that is now available. Developer Turn10 gives no reason why the demo doesn’t work on the PC at the moment.

If you purchase Forza Horizon 3 as a download from the Xbox Store, you can play the game on both an Xbox One console and a Windows 10 PC. The game uses the Play Anywhere program, which Microsoft introduced at E3. This means, among other things, that console gamers can compete against PC players in the game.

In the demo, which is now available for Xbox One, players can explore part of the area where Forza Horizon 3 takes place. After playing all events in the demo, you can race online in a free roam session. Available cars in the demo include the Lamborghini Centenario, BMW M4 Coupe, Ford Shelby GT350R, Nissan Silvia Spec-R, and the HSV GTS Maloo. There are 350 cars in the full game.
