Fitbit devices from the Versa and Ionic series, and the Charge 3 can measure oxygen levels in the blood, Fitbit has confirmed to Engadget. The feature doesn’t seem to be enabled for all users yet, according to a thread on Reddit. The Fitbit devices use an infrared sensor for measurement.

Fitbits aren’t the first devices to do this. The feature can also be found in several other wearables from other brands, including Huawei, Honor and Huami. Fitbit has previously run a test with a smaller number of users to test the display of the results of the measurements. It has been known for some time that the hardware for measuring the oxygen content is in the Fitbit devices. Last year it was also announced that Fitbit is in the process of being acquired by Google.
