Firmware Update: Tyan Transport GX28/TA26 3.01

In addition to motherboards, Tyan also has server barebone systems in its range, which are sold under the name Transport. For the Transport GX28 and the Transport TA26, both using the same motherboard type, Tyan has had BIOS version 3.01 ready for a few days now. The changes look like this:

New features and fixes:

• Auto FAN Control default setting changed to [enabled]
• Changed default setting of Auto FAN speed control to 40%
• Removed DRAM Power Control Features
• Fixed an issue where thei ntrusion siren alarm could not be cleared
• Added the AMD PowerNOW! (TM) features
• Fixed an issue to correct memory size display while 4GB or above memory was installed
• Fixed an issue where unexpected machine-check errors would display
