Firmware update: Nokia E75 200.12.51

Nokia has released new firmware for its latest email phone, the E75. As can be seen in the changelog, a huge amount of changes have been made this time around. In addition to the normal improvements, Nokia has added many new services in this release, or provided existing services with an update, so that they can work seamlessly with the Nokia services again.

A striking detail is that this update can only be realized at a Nokia Service Point. This is because the memory format needs to be changed and this is not possible through Fota or the NSU. Before visiting a Nokia Service Point, it is recommended to make a backup of all your data. NSPs use a program that first completely formats the device and then completely rebuilds the software, unlike Fota and NSU, which only patch the software. Making a backup is easy with Nokia PC-Suite and by writing a complete backup to the internal micro-SD card. A list of all Nokia Service Points nearby can be found on the Nokia site to be found. Ovi Contacts users can upgrade to Chat 2.0, which will be available in Ovi Store.

N-Gage update to 1.2:
• The user can more easily find and purchase games

Share online update to 4.3:

• List of group members with no matching parts is displayed after group member is removed from group or new contact is added to the group

• “Contacts: system error (-6)” pops up when delete several marked groups.
