Nikon has for her Z 6II-digital system cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.02. These cameras have an fx-cmos image sensor with 24.5 megapixels on board and are suitable for lenses with a Nikon Z mount. The firmware can be installed from a Windows or macOS machine and is approximately 37MB in size. The list of changes for this update is as follows:
Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.01 to 1.02
- Fixed the following issue:
- Flash photographs taken with Auto-area AF selected for AF-area mode in the PHOTO SHOOTING MENU would sometimes not be correctly exposed.
- Improved overall reliability.
Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.00 to 1.01
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused overexposure in photos taken in continuous release modes using an AF-area mode with human or animal face/eye detection.
