Firmware Update: Nikon D5300 / D3300 1.02

Nikon has for its D5300– and D3300– digital SLR cameras released new firmware, with version number 1.02. These cameras both have an aps-c format DX-CMOS image sensor of 24.2 megapixels and are suitable for lenses with a Nikon F mount. The D5300 has WiFi and GPS on board as standard, where this is available with the D3300 via external modules. Other differences include the number of af-points and the size of the display. The firmware can be installed from a Windows or macOS machine and is approximately 22MB in size. The list of changes for this update is as follows:
