Firmware Update: Netgear ReadyNAS 6.2.2

Netgear has released a new version of ReadyNAS OS 6. This software runs on Netgear’s various NAS devices, namely the ARM processor equipped RN102, RN104 and RN2120, and the RN312, RN314, RN316, RN516, RN716x, RN3220 and RN4220, which have an onboard x86 processor. The changelog for this release shows the following changes and improvements:

Enhancements & Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed LAN instability in some IPv6 enabled environments.
  • Fixed FQDN validation for modifying existing backup jobs.
  • Fixed potential dangling external storage lock, which could cause external drives to not mount.
  • Fixed issue with expansion not completing.
