Download Firmware KiSS DP-558 1.1.0

KiSS has released a new firmware for its DP-558. The version number is 1.1.0 and the size is 3.5MB zip file contains a CD image that can be used to update the existing firmware. When updating from version 1.0.3 or older, a reset of the DP-558 is necessary. More information about this can be found at this one page to be found. An updated manual detailing the new features is not yet available. The changelog of this release shows at least the following changes:

• Support for scheduled recording with AUX Input such as Satellite Receivers
• General Playback Improvements of various supported formats such as DivX
• Better brightness adjustments
• QPEL Detection, Non-support notification
• Translation improvements in most languages
• FTP access to saved recordings from a PC
• EPG naming in scheduled recordings
• KML support for old sites
