Firmware update: Eminent EM7080 hdMEDIA RT 1.0.3.8

Eminent has for his EM7080 hdMEDIA RTmedia player released new firmware, with 1.0.3.8 as the version number. The included list of changes again shows several improvements. On our forum you can unfortunately no longer visit this topic for sharing user experiences since the topic has been locked, but you can read the previous experiences there. The full list of changes looks like this:

Version 1.0.3.8:

• Changed: Make the subtitle’s position set as negative value. (-120).
• Changed: Subtitle position change by steps of 5 pixels (was 20 pixels).
• Changed: When Preview is set to OFF, player will not parse the file during browse.
• Changed: “Recycler”,”System Volume Information” directory will not be listed
• Changed: Removed HWI rss feed from main category, since it’s also available under Metafeeds.
• Fixed: BD file playback issue (start slowly) on some BD clips.
• Fixed: Crash issue on some TIFF files.
• Added Japanese and Korean OSD UI
• Fix: The first of SRT subtitles wasn’t shown in some cases.
• Fix: System crash on multiple DVD ISO file playback (Resulting in ‘Could Not Play’ message.)
• Fix: External subtitle type issue on BD directory playback
• Fix: Disable the Next and Prev button during pause status
• Fix: Youtube not working with release from 3-3-2010
