Download Firmware ECS L7S7A2 Cheapo BIOS 127 & 313

The coders at OCworkbench released a Cheapo BIOS for the ECS L7S7A2 motherboard yesterday. A Cheapo BIOS is a BIOS optimized for stability and performance, often with some nice extra features. In this case, there are even two Cheapo BIOSes: one for extra stability and one for improved performance.

The BIOS that should provide the L7S7A2 with optimal performance is based on the official 030127 BIOS version, if you are looking for stability, you will get a BIOS based on version 030313. The changelog for the Cheapo BIOSes, which contain 127 respectively and 313 are numbered, looks like this:

– Adjust timing for stability and compatibility

– FSB programming range extended from 133-200 MHz to 133-233MHz

– PCI/AGP clock selection added. Available settings are
