Firmware Update: Draytek Vigor 2832 3.8.3.5

DrayTek released new firmware for the Vigor 2832 series routers a few days ago. These routers are suitable for forwarding ADSL2, ADSL2+ and cable connections. The family consists of the Vigor 2832 and Vigor 2832n, with the latter adding wireless capabilities. Version 3.8.3.5 includes the following list of changes:

New Features

  • Support Vigor ACS 2.0.
  • Support unique ‘Self-Signed’ certificate & private key for HTTPS (System Maintenance >>Self-Signed Certificate).

Improvement

  • Improved: Disable TLS_RSA_WITH_3DES_EDE_CBC_SHA cipher.
  • Improved: LAN client is not allowed to access router across VLAN.
  • Corrected: Route Policy could not work under NAT topology when WAN was set as Static IP Mode or Dynamic IP Mode.
  • Corrected: NAT loopback did not work when DMZ was enabled.
  • Corrected: Web Content Filter issue with Chrome Browser.
  • Corrected: Case sensitive issue for LAN DNS profile configuration.
  • Corrected: SIP ALG Issue under NAT Loopback topology.
  • Corrected: Hotspot Web Portal did not redirect to user’s requested URL by SMS login.
  • Corrected: Load Balance/Route Policy diagnosis reported packet dropped incorrectly.
  • Corrected: Port 443 could be scanned when other applications using the same port disabled or port changed already.
  • Corrected: Ping Diagnosis of diagnostics interface was displayed incorrectly when ping through VPN tunnel.
  • Corrected: Diagnostics (Load balance/ Route Policy) indicated incorrect rule when Domain Name was defined.
