Download Firmware Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III 1.2.0

Canon has for its EOS 1DS Mark III DSLRs released new firmware with 1.2.0 as the version number. These cameras have a 21 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and two Digic III image processors on board. Of course, they can be equipped with interchangeable lenses to shoot the desired photos. The list of changes for this firmware release is as follows:

Firmware Version 1.2.0 incorporates the following improvements.

• Supports the WFT-E2 II wireless file transmitter that was released in December 2009.

In addition, after the firmware is updated, if the WFT-E2 / E2A or WFT-E2 II wireless file transmitter is used with the camera, the indications that appear under [Communication mode] on the [WFT settings] menu are changed as follows:

• FTP -> FTP trans
• PTP(PC) -> EOSUtility
• HTTP -> WFTserver
• HTTP account -> WFT account
