Download Firmware Asus WL-500g 1.9.2.7

Asus released new firmware for its WL-500g router a few days ago released† It concerns version 1.9.2.7 that from this location can be taken down. In this release, five new features have been added and a bug fix has been implemented. Below you can read exactly which ones they are:

Note: The zip file contains the firmware,Asus Speaker Express quick guide(English), Bandwidth Management quick guide(English, ASUS Speaker Express installation file and USB Speaker_Compatiblelist

Add: Wireless Speaker.

Add: WMM/WPA2 Support.

Add: Bandwidth Management

Add: MAC Filter for LAN and WLAN

Add: Local port for Virtual Server

Fix: monitor for WAN Die and Web Cam die

Note1: Using this firmware on WL500g, the range of wireless transmission will be shortened because of the power of tx is lower.
Note2: The Wireless speaker support aiff, asf, asx, au, avi, dat, mp3, mpeg, wav, wma, wmv and DO NOT support mid[break]
