Asus has made a new bios available for the M2A-VM HDMI motherboard. This time it is a beta bios, which has been given version number 1601 beta and by clicking this link can be downloaded as a zip file. The developers have fixed two bugs that make it possible to use Agere’s pci-e lan card on the motherboard and to take full advantage of a processor when Cool’n’Quiet is disabled:

Fix AGERE PCIE x1 Lan card can’t be detected with PCIEx1 slot.

Fix that AM2+ CPU can’t run highest frequency if C’n’Q is disabled.
