Firmware Update: Asus A8N-SLI Premium 1009

Asus has a new BIOS for its A8N-SLI Premium motherboard released. The update can be recognized by version number 1009 and can be downloaded by clicking on this link downloaded as a zip file. Before performing the BIOS upgrade, Asus recommends installing the latest chipset drivers. Windows XP– and Windows XP x64users are supposed to have version 6.65 on the system. Users who Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003 x64 running on their computer must use version 6.66. Below is the changelog of BIOS version 1009 posted:

• Support new CPUs.
• Fix unstable under 400MHz-Single channel issue.
• Modify DDR max speed from 400MHz to 333Hz when full loading.
