Download Firmware Apple WatchOS 6.2

Apple has released an update to the software that runs on the Apple Watch. Updating the Apple Watch must be done through the app on the iPhone; instructions for that are on this page to find. Version 6.2 makes it possible, among other things, to make in-app purchases on the watch. The full changelog looks like this:

watchOS 6.2 includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes:

• In-app purchases for Apple Watch apps
• Fixed an issue where music playback would sometimes be interrupted when switching from a Wi-Fi connection to a Bluetooth connection
• The ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 or later is now available in Chile, New Zealand and Turkey
• Irregular heart rhythm notifications are now available in Chile, New Zealand and Turkey
