Download Firmware Abit AA8 Series 2.2

Abit has released a new BIOS for its AA8 series motherboards that has been given 2.2 as the version number. This BIOS is suitable for the AA8-DuraMAX† AA8-3rd Eye† AA8XE and AA8XE-3rd Eye and they all accommodate a Pentium 4 processor in an LGA 775 package. The included changelog looks like this:

• Fixed the issue that system may hang when pressing ALT-F2 at full screen logo screen.
• Fixed minor becoming issue when CPU with 2M L2 cache is installed.
• Change the adjustable FSB range to 500MHz.
• Added new item “Execute Disable Bit” and set the default to “Disable”.
• Added EIST control item.
• Add “C1E Function” control item.
• Fixed the issue that system may hang when SATA port 4 in used.
