The zombie game Dying Light 2: Stay Human sold five million copies in the month of release. Twenty million units of the original game have been sold since its release in 2015. According to Techland, the game’s sales are growing “significantly” every month.

Developer Techland has announced that there are five million copies of Dying Light 2: Stay Human have been sold in the month of release. This concerns the period until February 28, including preorders before the release date on February 3. The total number of copies sold will be higher. Techland says that the sales increase every monthbut it is not clear by how much.

New content and some “in-demand features” for Dying Light 2 will be released next week. Earlier, the developer said it’s the considering adding a New Game Plus mode. Whether this mode will appear in the upcoming update has not been disclosed.

Dying Light 2 is an action RPG with a survival horror setting. The game came in a busy release month. Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring, among others, were released in February. FromSoftware’s action RPG has sold 12 million copies since its release. No official figures are yet available for Forbidden West.
