DS, a brand within the Stellantis group, will unveil its first model around 2024 that will be sold only as an electric car. This car will be based on the STLA Medium platform. In 2024 there will also be an electric variant of the DS 4 hatchback.

It is not yet clear what kind of car the STLA Medium model will be. According to DS, the still unnamed model will be the first Stellantis model to use this platform. The car gets a maximum of a 104 kWh battery, good for a range of 700 kilometers. Stellantis previously indicated that such a range would be possible with this platform, although it did not indicate at the time what kind of batteries it concerns.

Car manufacturer DS, which separated from Citroën in 2015, only wants to announce electric cars from 2024. The company is currently selling an electric model with the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense, but petrol and diesel variants of the DS 3 are also available for sale. DS will only sell electric variants of the as yet unnamed model. In addition, there will be an electric variant of the DS 4 hatchback. It will appear in 2024, but further details are not yet known.

After DS, the Stellantis brands Lancia and Alfa Romeo should become fully electric in 2026 and 2027, respectively. From 2028, Opel will only sell EVs in Europe.
