Driver Update: Realtek AC’97 A3.62

Realtek has installed new AC’97 drivers on its FTP server. The update can be recognized by version number A3.62 and can be downloaded by clicking on this link. In addition to the operating software, Realtek has also updated its media player to the same version. The software can be taken down from here. In the changelog of the drivers we find the following changes:

1. Add some customized settings.
2. Fix SPDIF Copy protect issue in Media Player.
3. Support AC3 SPDIF and 8 channels for Ali1689 chipsets.
4. Reduce POP noise with EAPD for power change.
