Driver update: nVidia nForce 2.45 WHQL

nVidia has released new nForce drivers in the form of version 2.45. These have received the WHQL certificate from Microsoft and are intended for motherboards equipped with an nForce or nForce2 chip. This release brings some changes such as better compatibility for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Battlefield 1942 and Mafia, among others. In addition, the audio control panel has been updated and the 3D sound has a better performance. The changelog and release notes look like this:

Installation Notes

• Windows XP users must install Service Pack 1 prior to attempting to install this package. Failure to do so will result in the inability to support USB 2.0.
• Audio drivers will not install on the following nForce2 products: Chaintech 7NJS. Please use the drivers that come with these products to enable audio functionality.
