Driver Update: Matrox Parhelia, P650 & P750 1.04.03.005

Matrox has released new drivers for three of its most modern graphics cards: the triple-head Parhelia and its smaller siblings, the P650 and P750. The cards, which all use the same technologies, can now render with driver version 1.04.03.005 between the transistors.

Unfortunately, we also encounter the usual drawbacks; Matrox does not provide drivers for Windows 9x or ME, nor does it provide us with a decent changelog. What is of course available are the eternal notes with the download:

– This driver release supports Matrox Parhelia 128MB/256MB, Millennium P650 and Millennium P750 boards.
– Please uninstall your current drivers using Microsoft Add/Remove Programs before installing the new drivers. Do not uninstall your current drivers if you have Matrox RT2500, Matrox DigiSuite or Matrox Imaging products installed in your system.[break]The new drivers are only for Windows 2k and XP.
