Driver update: Intel PROSet/Wireless Bluetooth 21.60.2 / 21.40.4

Intel has released new versions of its Intel PROSet/Wireless and Wireless Bluetooth sets for the Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 platforms with version number 21.60.2 for Windows 10 and 21.40.4 for the older Windows versions. These kits contain drivers as well as a compact interface to set up wireless profiles and also offer extensive statistics and troubleshooting options compared to Windows. These kits support the Intel adapters type numbers 3165, 3168, 8260, 8265, 9260, 9461, 9462, 9560, 17265, 18260, 18265, AX200, and AX201. The following description is provided:

• System randomly fails to connect to network with Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controller.
• 802.11AC throughput might be decreased when connected to an 802.11AX Access Point.
• Windows Stop Errors (BSOD) caused by the Intel Wireless Driver
• Yellow bang (!) may appear in Device Manager under Intel® Wireless Adapter when playing online videos.
• Intel PROSet/Wireless Software has been updated to include functional and security updates. Users should update to the latest version.

• Intel Wireless Bluetooth 21.40.4 driver has been updated to include functional and security updates for the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. No further Bluetooth driver updates are planned for these operating systems. Users should update to the latest version.
