Below are the release notes of this driver for the separate IDE-RAID cards and the many motherboards that have the thing on board as standard:

Fixed problem of Some disks will read error, when the other disk on same channel get removed
Fixed bug if one of RAID1 (with Spare) member is fault
Fixed bugs on CF supported
