Driver Update: AMD Catalyst 15.4 Beta

AMD has released a new beta Catalyst driver. The driver is only suitable for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, with a separate download for 32bit and 64bit environments. Support for Windows 8.0 has been discontinued with version 14.6 and AMD therefore recommends installing the free update to Windows 8.1. The new driver includes optimizations for the game Grand Theft Auto V. We also find various new and modified Crossfire profiles, the necessary problems have been solved, but there are also a number of which AMD is known, but for which it is still has no solution.

AMD Catalyst 15.4 Beta for Windows – Grand Theft Auto V Optimized

This release enables peak driver performance optimization for AMD Radeon graphics users in Grand Theft Auto V. This particular software suite updates the AMD Catalyst Display Driver and the AMD Catalyst Control Center. This unified driver has been updated, and is designed to provide enhanced performance and reliability.

* AMD is currently working with Techland to resolve the following issue:

• [417173] Distant objects may flicker in Dying Light when AA is enabled in AMD Crossfire mode. As a workaround, users may disable AMD Crossfire mode if this issue is impacting their game experience.
