At its own event, Dell showed a new version of its Venue 11 tablet for business users. The tablet has a new Intel Core M processor on board. During the event, Dell also announced that its 5k monitor will cost 2177 euros.

The new version of the Venue 11, as its name suggests, again features a 10.8-inch screen, with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The device comes with two different Intel Core M processors: one clocked at 2GHz, and one clocked at 2.6GHz. Both processors have two cores and 4MB of L3 cache.

The processor can count on 4GB or 8GB of internal memory, and the device can be configured with an SSD of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB. In addition, it features a case that is 15 percent thinner than the previous Venue 11, which is 15.4mm thick. Dell does not reveal the exact capacity of the battery, but it will last ‘a working day’, the company promises.

The tablet can be used with a docking station and can additionally come with a fingerprint scanner. The tablet will cost at least 660 euros including VAT.

Dell unveiled the new tablet at its own event. At the same event, Dell also first announced an award for its 5k monitor, which the company showed in September. It will cost 2177 euros including VAT, and will be available from December.
