Microsoft did not release the Redstone 4 update for Windows 10 last week due to a bug that could cause blue screens of death . Instead of a cumulative update, Microsoft has developed a new build.

Microsoft has announced Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134 . Insider users in the Fast Ring can receive it. Until now, it was assumed that build version 17133 was the rtm version of Redstone 4, the upcoming comprehensive feature update of Windows 10.

According to The Verge is now the rtm version of Redstone 4 and it seems that it will appear as Windows 10 April 2018 Update. With that, Microsoft would have moved away from the name Spring Creators Update, which would initially have been chosen. The new name also indicates that it should in any case still appear in April.
The Redstone 4 update brings, among other things, the Timeline function to Windows 10, allowing users to scroll through their previous activities and pick them up again. There is also the Near Share function for the short-distance wireless sharing of files with other systems running Windows 10.
