CD Projekt Red has revealed more about Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming 1.3 update, which will include the game’s first DLC in the form of free cosmetic content. In addition, adjustments to the gameplay will be made, such as an improved minimap.

One of the main changes is that the minimap zooms in and out better while driving, so can be read in the patch notes. While driving, the minimap should now be zoomed out more, making it easier to navigate. In addition, there will be a button at the skill tree to be able to redistribute perk points. The number of slots for autosaves and quicksaves will also be increased to twenty and ten respectively.

After installing the update, enemies will notice the player less or faster, depending on the difficulty setting. Enemies on Easy and Normal will notice the player less quickly, while enemies on Very Hard will notice the player more quickly. At this last difficulty setting, enemies will also be more aggressive when looking for the player.

CD Projekt Red also brings additional content to the game for the first time in the form of free DLC. It involves two coats, a vehicle and an alternate appearance for Johnny Silverhand. These extras become available after the player reaches certain points in the storyline. The developer wants to release more of this kind of dlc later.

Free DLC has been promised to players for some time, but the developer says that improvements have now been made in the field of “streaming” and “memory management” that now make such DLC possible. A release date for the 1.3 update has not yet been announced.
