Cooler Master has added the K500L to its K-series of mainstream enclosures. The housing is available in two variants: one with a steel side panel and one with a transparent plastic window on the side.

The Cooler Master MasterBox K500L offers space for atx, micro-atx and mini-itx motherboards and there is room for cpu coolers with a maximum height of 160mm, video cards with a length of up to 400mm and power supplies that can be 180mm high.

The manufacturer supplies the housing with two 120mm fans with red LEDs, which are intended to be placed at the front. In total there is room for three 120mm or two 140mm fans on the front. At the top, the user can fit two more 120mm models and a 120mm fan can be mounted in the back.

There are also drive bays for two 3.5″ HDDs and up to six 2.5″ storage media. Cooler Master mentions an introductory price of 55 pounds for the MasterBox K500L, converted 63 euros. The introduction of the slightly more expensive MasterBox K500 will soon follow, which does not support red LEDs like the L variant, but comes with RGB fans and a glass side panel. The price and release date of this model are not yet known.
