Audio-Technica introduces the ATH-TWX7 True Wireless. These earplugs have 5.8mm drivers, have digital noise cancellation and support the LDAC codec. The earphones last 6.5 hours on a charge and cost 219 euros.

According to Audio-Technica, the 5.8mm drivers are the same as those found in the brand’s high-end ATH-TWX9 earbuds. The ATH-TWX7 is equipped with two mems microphones that work with beamforming. These microphones help according to the company in the digital noise cancellation, which includes three modes: a transparency mode, a speech mode and a full noise cancellation mode.

Audio-Technica has developed two conversation modes for audio calls: a natural mode and one with noise cancellation. The manufacturer has also developed a separate soundscape mode. In the latter mode, the earphones play sounds that are said to be soothing or promote the user’s concentration.

The earphones can play music for 6.5 hours on a single charge. The playback time can be extended by 13.5 hours via the included case, which supports fast charging. The earphones have been given an IPX4 rating and are therefore splash-proof.

Audio-Technica also provides an app that allows you to activate the low latency mode, set the equalizer and adjust the touch-sensitive surfaces on the housing of each earphone. The codec used can also be set via this app, including LDAC. The earphones can be used in one or two ears and support Bluetooth Multipoint. The ATH-TWX7 earphones are available in black, white or gray for 219 euros.
